In this CE webinar, Dr. Trushkowsky will explore the causes, diagnosis, and management of discolored dentition, with particular emphasis on white spot lesions and dental fluorosis. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these conditions develop and how they impact both the appearance and structural integrity of teeth. The program will guide attendees through the process of differentiating between intrinsic and extrinsic discoloration and demonstrate how to assess lesion depth using techniques such as transillumination. Dr. Trushkowsky will also outline a systematic approach to diagnosis and treatment planning to help clinicians determine the most appropriate course of action for each patient. Through real clinical case examples, participants will learn how to sequence care beginning with simple, conservative therapies—such as bleaching and microabrasion—and progressing to more advanced treatment options when necessary. These may include resin infiltration and restorative interventions. The goal of the webinar is to help clinicians achieve predictable esthetic outcomes while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible, emphasizing minimally invasive dentistry and thoughtful treatment planning.
