About the Speaker
Joseph Massad
DDS
Joseph Massad, DDS, is an internationally renowned clinician in the field of prosthodontics and has lectured extensively around the world. He has been named one of the top clinicians in continuing education from 2000 to the present by Dentistry Today, and in 2006 he received the Chicago Dental Society’s Gordon J. Christensen Recognition Lecturer Award. Dr. Massad regularly lectures at meetings of leading dental organizations, including the American Prosthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the Fédération Dentaire Internationale, and the Portuguese Dental Association.
A graduate of the Loyola University School of Dentistry, Dr. Massad has published numerous scientific articles in respected publications such as the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Compendium of Continuing Dental Education, Dentistry Today, Dental Economics, and The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, among others.
Dr. Massad served as Director of Removable Prosthodontics at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Arizona from 2006 to 2009, and from 1992 to 2003 he was an associate professor at the Pankey Institute in Florida. He currently holds faculty positions at five different dental schools across the United States.
