Dr. Sussman received a DDS degree from Columbia University in 1964 and an MSD in periodontics from New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry in 1968. He was board certified in Oral Medi?cine in 1972. He maintained a private practice in periodontics in Manhattan from 1968 to 2002 and was a clinical professor of periodontics and implant dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry. He taught mini dental implant dentistry to residents as an attending periodontist at Coler-Goldwater Hospital, Roosevelt Island, NY, from 1998 to 2013.
