Description
This case report article presents a minimally invasive technique to create attached gingiva where only mucosa is present on the facial aspect of dental implants.
Learning Objectives:
- Gain a better understanding of the importance of soft-tissue considerations when placing implants.
- Learn why there is much more to implant placement than simply drilling holes in bone and treading in implants.
- Be able to describe a periodontal treatment technique to be used when there is a lack of keratinized tissue where dental implants are to be placed.
